Case Study: PUMA Peace One Day
Goal: To promote and implement this international event, locally.
Execution: With a shoe-string budget and almost no time – just days, in fact – Lassoo secured an outdoor venue; achieved Auckland City Council approval (no mean feat!); and then set about making the event a success. We also made a television commercial, using local celebrities who donated their time and ‘faces’ to such a worthy cause; and we then begged, borrowed and stole airtime to promote the event. We also asked for nice weather on the day.
Success: Friends and clients of Lassoo gave their equipment, time and ‘faces’ to help bring it all together. There was a great crowd turn-out, SKY aired the event and the best part – white doves flew into the sky to celebrate a day of peace!
